Experiences
This is a marvelous place to see American bald eagles and a variety of local birds. The park also features scenic views of Lemon Bay, a butterfly garden, nature trails and an environmental center. Classes, as well as guided bird and butterfly walks, are available. Nature walk adventures are offered year round.
History
A 48 acre parcel of Lemon Bay Park was acquired in 1986 as part of a County bond referendum. Today the park covers 208 acres of pine and scrubby flatwoods along the natural bay shoreline.
